DIGGING STAR WARS hosts THE GLENN MILLER STORY (1954) AT THE JIMMY STEWART MUSEUM
Today, Digging Star Wars was honored to host the matinee screening The Glenn Miller Story (1954) at The Jimmy Stewart Museum in Indiana, PA.
In front of a small group, I talked about the film and its Henry Mancini connections. As you may recall, The Glenn Miller Story ranked #12 in our Top 100 Henry Mancini Films.
Here's the video of my presentation - shot by Comm Arts major (and my daughter) Lily...
Lily and I also had a great time visiting the museum and all the Jimmy Stewart film memorabilia...
The museum is located in Stewart's hometown Indiana, PA and will be screening the Mancini "Miller-arranged" and Mancini-scored film everyday now through Memorial Day Weekend. We highly suggest you check it out.
Thanks to the museum's President-Executive Director Janie McKirgan and the entire staff at the Museum for this fun opportunity.
